Language Arts has always been my favorite subject because of my love of reading. Having a great teacher who is excited about the subject makes the whole year better for me, and as soon as I walked into Ms. Ulrich’s second period class on the first day of school, I knew it was going to be a great year! I have also heard good things about the books we are going to read this year. First of all, my dad has read Freakonomics and 1984 and he loved them. Also, being interested in theatre and acting, I have read sections of Romeo and Juliet, but never the whole thing, and I’m very excited about getting a chance to read it. I talked to my mom about Glass Castle, which she told me was a fantastic book.
Overall, this year in LA I’m expecting to work hard and learn a lot, but also have lots of fun.
